Split into two Business Units to increase efficiency
Under the leadership of Ueli Schwegler as Director, the Cloud Infrastructure Unit will continue to focus on the core business of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), i.e. the provision of cloud infrastructures.

Under the leadership of Michael Dudli, the Cloud Platform Unit focuses on the further development of our cloud management platform, which enables IT teams to transform their server infrastructure into tailor-made hybrid clouds.

Strong growth thanks to hybrid cloud approach
The name Xelon stands for cloud innovation: renowned companies approach us to tackle their hybrid cloud challenges. There are now 1,300 companies and 2,500 devices registered at Xelon HQ.
2021
Awarded ISO 27001 for cyber security and ISO 9001 for quality management.
2020
New offices in Zug, Switzerland
We move into a new office in the heart of the city of Zug, getting ready for further growth.
2019
We have released our own Orchestration Tool: Xelon HQ
2014
First Public Cloud goes live!
After a six-month evaluation phase, our first cloud platform goes online and sets the foundation for many virtualization projects.

Xelon Hosting GmbH moves to the canton of Zug
In 2013, the company headquarters of Xelon Hosting GmbH was moved to Hunenberg in the canton of Zug.
2012
New company with focus on B2B hosting
Michael Dudli becomes self-employed and focuses on Xelon Hosting GmbH on dedicaded hosting and server housing for B2B.
