Looking for a solution for your VMware license?

Due to recent changes in the Broadcom/VMware Licensing model, many cloud providers cannot meet the partner requirements anymore. Xelon is here to help.

Besides our classic public and private cloud model, where Cloud Providers and IT teams can pass the whole responsibility of datacenter, hardware, network and virtualization to Xelon, we are setting up a license white-labeling model, where providers can keep their infrastructure, and license VMware through us.

Two models are available

Full migration to Xelon

This option includes a migration of existing infrastructure (VMware or other hypervisors) into Xelons Public and Private Clouds.

  • Public Cloud: A shared cloud, no minimum commit, no setup fee, Xelon HQ access
  • Private Cloud: Dedicated Hardware and Network, at least 3 Nodes, min 3 Year commit, VMware access, Xelon HQ access
  • Status Image Our stable, state-of-the-art public and private cloud solutions are complemented by simple plug-and-play orchestration software, the Xelon HQ.
  • Status Image Providing a transparent partner model with sustainable margins, supported by joint marketing and sales activities to foster growth.
  • Status Image Offering unmatched support in architecture and design, migration and onboarding guidance, and technical support for changes and issue handling.
License white-labeling model

This new model is meant to provide short-term support to Swiss IT service providers who don't meet the new partner requirement of VMware/Broadcom. In this model, Xelon acts as the license provider, so that business continuity can be ensured after April 30th. Provider can keep datacenter and hardware. Xelon charges the customer the VMware licenses.

  • Status Image To ensure financial continuity, we will ship the license without any uplift until end of 2024.
  • Status Image An onboarding session where we install metering and license key will be held free of charge.
  • Status Image As technical support has to be provided by Xelon, we will charge support by the hour.
