Xelon has again received ISO certifications for cyber security and quality management (ISO 27001 and ISO 9001). The renewal of certifications helps Xelon continue to grow.
Xelon has been ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified since July 2020. "For us as a start-up, this was an important milestone at the time. In addition to hundreds of satisfied customers at home and abroad, the ISO certifications showed that we were on the right track with the high standards we set for ourselves and our solutions," says Michael Dudli, CEO of Xelon. In the fall of 2022, Xelon again received the ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications. "I am proud that we achieved the certifications again and were able to improve greatly compared to previous years," says Michael Dudli.
Founded in 1947, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) played a major pioneering role in what is known as standardization. The association of standardization organizations continues to develop globally valid standards, the so-called ISO standards, to this day. ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems and the most important cyber security certification. This standard specifies the requirements for implementing appropriate security mechanisms that are adapted to the circumstances of companies and organizations.
«ISO-9001 lays the foundation to better realize the potential of our employees»
ISO 9001 is the world's leading quality management system certification. According to the SME Portal of the Swiss Confederation, it is the "basis for building a comprehensive system to maintain the quality of work." ISO 9001-certified companies like Xelon ensure consistently high service quality. "This standard helps us develop our startup. It lays the foundation for us to continue to maximize the potential of all Xelon employees," says Xelon CEO Michael Dudli on the renewal of ISO 9001 certifications.
Where do we go from here? "In the next twelve months, we want to continue to work strictly according to the ISO guidelines," Michael Dudli announces. According to Xelon's CEO, security training for all employees and external security tests are planned as part of the ISO 27001 certification. In the area of ISO 9001 certification, it is planned to document all processes even more carefully throughout the company and to communicate key operating figures more clearly across all teams.
